A visit to Movie Park Germany is a real must and not only for those who love cinema. Located just 30 miles north of Dusseldorf, the theme park consists of 7 areas based on movies and TV series and covers over 98 acres. Each of the 7 areas has a collection of their own attractions and these areas are named: The Hollywood Street Set, Streets of New York, Nickland, The Old West, Santa Monica Pier, Adventure Lagoon and Federation Plaza.

The theme park offers unique scenarios from famous movies and consists of over 40 attractions, sure to entertain visitors of all ages! If you visit in the month of October, you can also experience what they say is Europe's greatest Halloween event: the Halloween Horror Festival!

There are numerous restaurants at the theme park that represent its different areas. Stop at the New York Corner for sweet snacks like waffles, ice cream and milkshakes or head out west where you can stop by the Western Ranch and enjoy its Western ambience.

You can get to Movie Park Germany by car, bus and train. Bus "267" arrives directly to the park departing from Essen and Bottrop main station, while those taking the train should get off at stop "Feldhausen" and walk 5 minutes to get to the park.

“service soweit so gut nur begann der tag beschissen durch navi hat uns im kreis geleitet (stau baustellen ) und im parc servie sehr gut leider spiete das wetter nicht mit bekamen mehrere schauer auf den pelz.was den tag vers............?”

“Der Park war nicht zu voll, keine lange Wartezeiten, alle Stände und Geschäfte waren geöffnet. Rundum ein toller Tag. Schade war, dass der Park bei dem hervorragenden Wetter und Sommerferien seine Öffnungszeit nicht verlängert hat und um 18:00 Uhr geschlossen hat.”
