What to expect

Spend a fun-filled family day out at Loro Parque, one of the Canary Islands’ top attractions. Originally created as a haven for parrots, it’s grown into a world-class wildlife park with over 40 million visitors and counting. Known for its immersive design and strong focus on conservation, it was the first zoo to receive the Animal Embassy’s Environmental Certification.

Check out the recreated habitats, featuring carefully themed architecture that feels both immersive and respectful of the animals it houses. You can stop by world-famous exhibits – the Coral Kingdom, the largest man-made coral reef outside the ocean, is a real highlight.

Wander through AquaViva, the Zen Garden, and the Orchid House. Kids can let off steam in Kinderlandia, and bird lovers will have plenty to see at Katandra Treetops. From the Jungle Ara to the colourful Aquarium and Baby Station, there’s something for everyone. Anlage sehr gepflegt. Die Shows (Delfine, Orcas und Seelöwen) waren super. Auch das Unterwasser Becken war sehr gut.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Loro Park und es war sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal. Parkplätze sind auch genug umliegend vorhanden.

Millenial Dragon Tree Park Tenerife

This is your chance to set eyes on a living national monument – the drago milenario, or millennial dragon tree. It's one of the oldest living species in the world, and you can take a closer look at the Millenial Dragon Tree Park, which comes complete with a sustainable garden to stroll around, picnic area and views over Teide all around.Believed to be over 800 years old, the drago milenario tree deserves all the attention it gets.
