What to expect

Garajonay National Park boasts pristine woodlands which are over 60 million years old, and they are undoubtedly a highlight of a visit to La Gomera. The park is a true natural treasure, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Deep ravines scar the swathes of evergreen laurel forests bursting with rare plant life. we enjoyed Gomera national park but didn't see the point in stopping to view the banana plantation particularly as we had very limited time to explore San Sebastian which is a delightful town. The lunch was not good with vegetable soup that was tasteless, the chicken was ok but served with bland rice and vegetables and only white wine or water was offered. The staff seemed disinterested in us or the service they provided. Beautiful island so trip could have been very much better.

Tour not what it said in information worst tour been on not value for what we paid for it tour leader bad information didn't seem to know much of anything food not very good very disappointing actually I'm going to ask for a refund would not recommend this trip to anyone

Guide was awful, hard to locate bus after ferry as she sat inside bus rather than standing outside, stopped at national park & didn’t provide any facts or info on the park or where to hike just be back in parking lot in one hour while she chain smoked outside the cafe. Same at the ferry terminal town just be back here in 1 hour, no guidance on where to go, English was hard to understand

The guide was lovely and always checking on us and repeating everything in English as we were the only ones amongst a couch full of Germans, The sit down lunch was cramped and uncomfortable especially being placed amongst Germans it was a bit claustrophobic , lucky the guy on our table could speak English which really helped us to settle a bit. Didn't get very long at the end in the main town which was a real shame as would have loved to have looked around better 30 mins is not enough
