Why you’ll love this…
  • Tour Timanfaya National Park
  • Travel the Lunar Route and see 'Fire Mountain'
  • See El Golfo lagoon
  • Enjoy a local wine tasting in La Geria
What to expect

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio. We'll even throw in a wine tasting session to round off the tour.

First up, you'll visit the waters of El Golfo - it's emerald waters have starred in many a Hollywood film over the years. But that's just an appetiser for the main event – the visit to Timanfaya National Park. Famed for its moonlike landscape is dotted with lava fields and black rocks, you'll see the ‘Fire Mountain', to name but a few.

We'll continue the tour with a stop in La Geria for a sip of some local wine before we reach Salinas de Janubio, the largest salt flats in the Canaries. Snap a few selfies with the miles of cotton-white salt mounds as your guide fills you in on the history of this all-important island resource. You'll even get a chance to try some, too.

Our guide (Neige) was fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly. The coach driver did an amazing job. The itinerary was packed without feeling rushed and was a great way to see the south of the island.

Tour was interesting but Unfortunately it did not suit or work out on the day... Firstly, I had my teenage son with me so as the day went on he really got bored.... secondly, with the different languages, we were straining to hear the commentry when it came to our language as there was other families with children that day constantly talking and we just lost interest...... 5hrs basically on a bus was alot but still a lovely tour fr anyone who wants culture

Really good, interesting and informative. Can’t fault the tour or the things seen. My only issue as a parent with a young child. Our pick up was 12pm and we missed lunch at all inclusive hotel and we couldn’t get a pack up. The first stop was 2:30 ish and we didn’t have enough time to eat the lunch I bought at volcano. So child ate at 3:45 so she was hungry and struggled. I was told when booking we would stop for lunch so didn’t take snacks. Which we wouldn’t have been able to eat on coach anywa

Tour guide was very knowledgeable! Without this tour we would never had such an amazing experience on such force and devastation a volcano can cause. Would highly recommend this tour to all holiday makers.
